This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting. During switching regulator operation, the operating temperature should remain at -40°C~125°C TJ. In this voltage regulator 12v, the switching frequency is 260kHz. There is no dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage requirement for this regulator. There is a maximum input voltage of 40V for this voltage regulator 12v. With its peak reflow temperature of 260, this voltage regulator is essentially indestructible. An input voltage of 12V is required to meet the requirements of the switching regulator operation. As a member of the LM2672 family of DC/DC regulators, this is a DC/DC regulator.
