A Tube package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 8 terminations were made. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. The space-saving 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package is available for this voltage regulator. There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. Despite its low input voltage, this voltage regulator can operate. As a result, the output voltage of the voltage regulator 12v (Min/Fixed) is 0.8V.
