MC74HC4046ANG Overview
This clock IC is packaged using the Tube method. Embedded in the 16-DIP (0.300, 7.62mm) package is this Clock PLL. This clock generator will sustain a maximum temperature of 260 when reflown. It contains a total of 16 terminations within RF synthesizer. To operate this time clock generator, 4.5V voltage should be applied. In this clock generator, CMOS is used as the input to the clock. There are 1 circuits implemented in order to achieve full performance from this electronic part. Because of the Through Hole, clock PLL can be easily mounted on the panel. The maximal supply voltage (Vsup) reaches 6V. For safety reasons, this frequency generator's supply voltage should remain above 2V. As long as you provide 3V~6V supply voltage, it will work.
