This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tube package for optimized performance. In this voltage regulator, 8 terminations are present. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHED CAPACITOR CONVERTER-type IC. The harley voltage regulator is available as a 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package to save space. There are 1 outputs on DC DC switching regulator. On the output pins of this DC DC switching regulator, there is a Fixed output generated. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at -40°C~85°C TA. 125kHz 250kHz is the switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator. The output voltage of this voltage regulator (Min/Fixed) amounts to -Vin 2Vin volts. This voltage regulator's peak reflow temperature is so high as to make it virtually indestructible. For operation, voltage regulator provides a nominal input voltage of 5V. In terms of category, this voltage regulator 12v falls into the Other Analog ICs category. DC/DC regulators such as this one belong to the MAX1680 family of products. There is a possibility that DC DC switching regulator can give voltage at 11V volts. To operate the voltage regulator 12v, 8 pins are required. There should be at least a -5.5V volt output voltage for this switching regulator in order to make it work properly. The maximum output current reaches 125mA A to meet the switching regulator operation requirements.
