It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. This harley voltage regulator has 8 terminations. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. Space-saving 8-SOIC (0.209, 5.30mm Width) packages are available for this harley voltage regulator. There are 1 outputs configured on the voltage regulator. On the output pins of this DC DC switching regulator, there is a Adjustable output generated. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket. In order for it to operate properly, dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature should be at 0°C~70°C TA. DC-DC switching regulators reach 100kHz switching frequencies. A dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 3V is required for this voltage regulator to operate. The output voltage (Min/Fixed) of this voltage regulator 12v is 1.25V. A maximum design flexibility is provided by the 1.5A Switch output current of voltage regulator. As a result of its peak reflow temperature, this voltage regulator is virtually indestructible. An input voltage of 5V is required for switching regulator operation. I would like to point out that this voltage regulator belongs to the Switching Regulator or Controllers subcategory. MC34063A is a family of voltage regulators that belong to the DC/DC industry. There is a possibility that DC DC switching regulator can give voltage at 40V volts. In order to operate voltage regulator, 8 pins are required. Based on the maximal adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage of 40V Switch, adjusting voltage regulator can be operated easily.
