Tape & Reel (TR) cases are used for delivery. This battery regulator is contained in a TO-263-4, D2Pak (3 Leads + Tab), TO-263AA package. This gadget has 3 terminations on it, each with a different function. This IC Regulator has a type of output called Fixed. The electronic component implements 1 Voltage regulator ICs.
